.67 East India Company Brown Bess Rifle (Obsolete Calibre) – S/H

Product Description

An interesting military type musket utilizing an East India Company lock dated 1817 with the distinctive rampant lion, a primary emblem of the Honourable East India Company, commonly stamped on uniform buttons and weapons. Very reminiscent of the famed Brown Bess which is obviously what these type of muskets were based upon. This smoothbore musket features a 38" sighted barrel and brass ramrod flutes, trigger guard and heel plate. The stock has a feint stamp which is likely an armoury mark or private militia owners mark. The barrel features JPR/EXR/273 which was stamped on firearms from the Jaipur Arsenal when they were exported probably in the 1970s.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great store, excellent service. The shop is beautifully stocked; I could have spent all day there! The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful; I truly felt special. They took care of everything.
The gun I bought is simply fantastic. It looks brand new even is second hand. It's very accurate and a pleasure to shoot. I highly recommend the store; the owner and sales experts are very reliable.
It's a pity you're so far away from me as I'd love to visit you more often.
P.S. Sorry for the late feedback, however hope it helps other customers! All the best!
